With 3 times the power of any 2.4 GHz phone system available today, the mighty Durafon 4X closes the cordless phone gap in large areas to keep you connected. The base unit supports up to 4 lines from 1 base and up to 36 cordless handsets, so the system can easily expand along with your business. (Note: Durafon 4X handsets are backwards-compatible with the EnGenius EP-490 system.)

Longest-range cordless — ranges up to 12 floors in buildings, and up to 250,000 square feet in warehouse-type environments. Outdoors on farms, ranches or college campuses, coverage is up to 3,000 acres.

Expandable 4-line system — supports up to 4 lines and 36 handsets on a single base unit!

Full-duplex 2-way radio — allows you to send and receive broadcast or intercom messages to and from all handsets at once, independently of the base. Features push-to-talk broadcast and private intercom capabilities.

Clear, secure reception — digital spread-spectrum technology offers maximum privacy and security; system uses 100-times-per-second frequency hopping to prevent eavesdropping.

Super long talk time — provides 6 hours of talk time, 50 hours of stand-by time; handset comes with a long-life lithium ion battery.

Rapid battery charger — recharges batteries in just 3 hours.

Auto attendant — directs callers to specific handsets.

Text messaging — allows you to text-message handset-to-handset or handset-to-group.

3-Way conference calling — allows you to conference between 2 handsets and 1 line, or 2 lines and 1 handset.
