Perfect for small offices, the Uniden 2–line 5.8 GHz Corded/Cordless Phone with Digital Answerer offers the flexibility of 2 lines and 2 handset styles, plus fantastic digital clarity and range, message waiting indicator, and expandability to 10 handsets!

This versatile system with corded base and separate cordless handset lets you put a total of 10 handsets wherever you need them, whenever you need them, using just a standard wall outlet. The corded base with power failure protection lets you make and receive calls even when the power goes out. Add in a remote access digital answering system, Call Waiting/Caller ID, base and handset speakerphones, and 2–way handset communication, and you’ll wonder how you ever ran your office without it!

2–Line operation — works with 1 or 2 telephone lines. Use one handset to talk on Line 1 and another handset and the base unit to participate in a 3–way conference on Line 2.

5.8 GHz digital frequency — ensures outstanding voice clarity, security, and range with minimal interference.

Expandable to 10 handsets — lets you add expansion handsets (sold separately, Item #21570) wherever you need them most for a total of 10 (9 expansion handsets plus the handset supplied). Simply plug into any standard outlet!

Integrated digital answering system — operates at the base as well as at any cordless handset on the system. Provides up to 12 minutes of recording time per line and records up to 59 messages. Includes call screening, personal or pre—recorded outgoing messages, conversation recording, and remote message retrieval.

Message waiting indicator — flashes to let you know there are new messages waiting. Optional alert tone sounds every 15 seconds whenever you have a new message.

Advanced phonebook features — allows you to store up to 2 numbers per name and up to 100 names in the handset and base phone­book. Transfer function lets you move phonebook entries from one handset to another or from handset to base without having to re–enter data. Also includes alphabetical search and personalized ringers.

Power failure protection — retains phone information during power outages and lets you continue to make and receive calls from the corded base.

Call Waiting/Caller ID — displays the name and number of incoming callers, even if you’re on another call. Lets you store Caller ID or redial numbers in the phonebook for later use. Call Waiting Deluxe capability lets you place callers on hold, send them to voicemail, or conference them into your current call at the touch of a button.

Handset and base duplex speakerphones — allow you to talk and listen hands–free from either base or handset.

DirectLink feature — lets you use a pair of handsets (or 2 pairs of handsets at one time) for 2–way radio communication.

Up to 7–way conference calling — allows up to 7 people to participate in a conference call, consisting of 2 outside lines, 4 handsets, and the base speakerphone. Lets you easily join a call already in progress.

Plus — headset compatibility, base keypad, Do Not Disturb setting, mute and hold functions, earpiece and ringer volume control, 10 speed dial memory locations at the base, 20 ringer options, ringer off option, intercom and call transfer between handsets, and more.
