As the longest-range multi-base phone and 2-way radio communications system available, the EnGenius DuraFon PRO Long-Range Industrial Cordless Phone includes 4 ports/lines, expands to 8 base units, supports up to 90 handsets, & offers PBX functionality!

Like the DuraFon 1X and 4X, the dependable and easy-to-use DuraFon PRO is loaded with features and built tough to provide outstanding cordless phone coverage, mobility, and flexibility in such demanding business environments as warehouses, construction sites, farms, multi-floor office buildings, schools, and retail stores. But the premium PRO further enhances long-range communications with a handset speakerphone, multiple base registration that allows 2-way and broadcast functionality with all base units, and line-port broadcast capability. Standard phone features include Caller ID/Call Waiting, 90-name/number directory, any-key answering, auto-attendant, 3-way conferencing, call transfer/forwarding, and more.

Longest-range cordless — ranges up to 5 miles in open terrain, up to 12 floors in buildings, and up to 250,000 square feet in warehouse-type environments. Outdoors on farms, ranches or college campuses, coverage is up to 3,000 acres.

Supports up to 90 PRO or DuraWalkie handsets — accommodates your growing business and contains costs by allowing you to add handsets to the system only as needed.

Expandable 4-line system — supports up to 4 lines per base unit; up to 8 base units may be connected for increased coverage and/or capacity.

PBX functionality — works behind any analog port and can be programmed for users with all PBX analog-equivalent functions.

Full-duplex 2-way radio — allows you to send and receive broadcast or intercom messages to and from all handsets at once independently of the base, leaving phone lines open for outside calls. Lets you broadcast to handsets via analog port or line as well as from another PRO or DuraWalkie handset (Item #22091) directly.

Clear, secure reception — offers maximum privacy and security through digital spread-spectrum technology; uses 100-times-per-second frequency hopping to prevent eavesdropping. 900 MHz digital frequency will not interfere with wireless networks.

Super-long talk time — provides 6 hours of talk time, 50 hours of stand-by; handset comes with a long-life lithium-ion battery.

Works with DuraWalkie — lets you add the convenience of long-range 2-way intercom and broadcast communication via the PRO system without having to pay for handset phone capability you don't need.

Optional external antenna — enhances reception indoors in warehouses and manufacturing plants or outdoors on farms and car lots (Item #12117).
