The multi-function DuraFon PRO Expansion Handset provides the longest-range cordless coverage possible in such demanding environments as factories, warehouses, multi-floor office buildings, farms, construction sites, college campuses, and more. Works for 6 hours on a single charge, has the ability to operate independently of the base, and includes a speakerphone for hands-free operation. Features include Caller ID/Call Waiting, 3-way conferencing, 3 call logs, call transfer/forwarding, text messaging, any-key answering, hold, mute, redial, and much more! Also works with the EnGenius DuraWalkie 2-Way Handset (Item #22091).

Longest-range cordless — ranges up to 5 miles in open terrain, up to 12 floors in buildings, and up to 250,000 square feet in warehouse-type environments. Outdoors on farms, ranches or college campuses, coverage is up to 3,000 acres.

Scalable and reliable — ruggedized handsets can handle the rigors of the toughest industrial environments; DuraFon PRO system supports up to 90 PRO Expansion or DuraWalkie handsets, allowing you to add handsets as needed. (Requires at least one DuraFon PRO base unit.)

Full-duplex 2-way radio — allows you to send and receive broadcast or intercom messages to and from all handsets at once independently of the base, leaving phone lines open for outside calls. Lets you broadcast to handsets via analog port or line as well as from another PRO or DuraWalkie handset directly.

Super-long talk time — provides 6 hours of talk time, 50 hours of stand-by; comes with a long-life lithium-ion battery.

Speakerphone — allows you to place or answer telephone or intercom calls and talk hands free.

Clear, secure reception — offers maximum privacy and security through digital spread-spectrum technology; system uses 100-times-per-second frequency hopping to prevent eavesdropping. 900 MHz digital frequency will not interfere with wireless networks.

Works with DuraWalkie — lets you add the convenience of long-range 2-way intercom and broadcast communication via the PRO system without having to pay for handset phone capability you don't need.

Use of Caller ID requires subscription to Caller ID services.
