Ideal for high-end and large-venue videoconferencing applications, this flexible top-of-the-line system has everything you need to make every videoconference an optimally productive experience! Data-sharing capability lets you share presentation materials originated on your PC, while built-in streaming allows remote users to log on from any PC via Internet browser. Video options include flexible display patterns (voice switching or fixed site) and a site-name display function that displays information on multiple monitors to help participants keep track of conference activity. This extraordinary system also has the ability to record audio and video to Memory Stick® media, and its user-friendly Remote Commander provides easy one-touch operation.

Highest resolution video — produces image resolution comparable to that of standard TV broadcasts over both ISDN and IP networks, and fully supports the latest non-proprietary video standards.

Superb sound — reproduces clear, natural-sounding audio using MPEG-4 Advanced Audio Coding at 14 kHz. Built-in echo cancellation system minimizes unwanted echoes during videoconferences.

Multi-point videoconferencing — lets you communicate with a total of 6 videoconferencing sites simultaneously using an IP or ISDN connection, or with a combination of both using a bridging function. Supports a maximum of 10 sites when 2 PCS-G70S units with optional multi-point software installed are cascaded.

Multiple display output — supports up to 5 additional monitors that can be used to display the 5 far-end sites in a 6-way videoconference.

Tracking camera — provides automatic tracking in 3 modes: Speaker Tracking Mode (centers the active speaker's face on-screen), Next Face Centering Mode (pans the camera left and right to capture participants' faces one by one), and Presenter Mode (uses movement detection to track and center a moving speaker).

User-friendly Remote Commander — allows you to access your videoconferencer's intuitive user interface via a remote unit with easy one-touch operation.

Site-name display — lets you display anything

from company or branch names to geographical locations on multiple monitors, allowing participants to keep track of all parties.

Flexible display patterns — displays the most appropriate pattern to match the number of sites connected: voice switching, which displays the far-end site actively talking on the monitor, or fixed site, which continuously displays the selected far-end site on the monitor, when the unit is in full-screen mode.

Memory Stick® support — allows presentation materials to be displayed and shared without having to connect to a computer. Audio and video displayed on the main monitor can be recorded directly to Memory Stick media in MPEG-4 format and played back on any PC using QuickTime® media player.

Built-in streaming — allows remote users to log on from any PC using an Internet browser.

Data-sharing capabilities — let you send presentation documents originated from your PC with an optional PCS-DSB1S Data Solution Box (DSB not required for receiving data), as well as share hand-written content on a whiteboard (requires a digital whiteboard recorder).

A TV or projector is required to monitor videoconferencing images.
