TV-quality video — provides excellent picture quality over both ISDN and IP networks and fully supports the latest non-proprietary video standards.

Superb sound — reproduces clear, natural-sounding audio using MPEG-4 Advanced Audio Coding at 14 kHz. Built-in echo cancellation system minimizes unwanted echoes during videoconferences.

Data-sharing capabilities — let you share presentation documents originated from your PC with an optional PCS-DSB1 Data Solution Box, as well as hand-written content on a whiteboard (requires a digital whiteboard recorder).

Multi-point videoconferencing — lets you communicate with up to 5 remote videoconferencing sites (6 sites total) simultaneously using either an IP or ISDN connection. Supports a maximum of 10 sites when 2 PCS-G50 units with optional multi-point software installed (Item #22368) are cascaded.

Flexible display patterns — uses the most appropriate display pattern to match the number of sites connected: voice switching, which displays the far-end site actively talking on the monitor, or fixed site, which continuously displays the selected far-end site on the monitor, when the unit is in full-screen mode.

User-friendly Remote Commander — allows you to access your videoconferencer's intuitive user interface via a remote unit with easy one-touch operation.

Site name display — lets you display anything

from company or branch names to geographical locations on a monitor, allowing videoconference participants to keep track of all participants.

Memory Stick® support — allows presentation materials to be displayed and shared without having to connect to a computer. Audio and video displayed on the main monitor can be recorded directly to Memory Stick media in MPEG-4 format and played back on any PC using QuickTime® media player.

Quality of Service enhancement — provides 3 advanced functions to enhance QoS for excellent performance and minimal interruptions while conferencing on the Internet or on LAN/WAN networks.

Advanced Encryption Standard security — supports AES for encrypting video, audio, and graphics for the duration of your videoconferences.

Built-in streaming function — allows remote users to log on from any PC using an Internet browser.

A TV or projector is required to monitor videoconferencing images.
