Avoid dashes for a ringing phone. Use the Avaya EHS5 and answer the phone remotely. When you hear your ringer, just activate your headset and the handset is electronically "lifted" off hook to field the call. And when you're through, simply switch off your headset and the Avaya EHS5 hangs up.

Installation is easy. Connect it in parallel to the Audio signal through the headset port of the Avaya phone. An interface box, the Avaya EHS5 is less obtrusive than mechanical lifters.
