Built on the SIP protocol, the 244vs will work seamlessly with industry-standard VoIP products and services, today and tomorrow. You can also network up to 3 additional units with your 244vs to add more lines or extensions as your needs grow. Advanced call handling features include dial-by-name directory, automatic route selection, music on hold, ring groups, and much more. Plus, the TalkSwitch 244vs is simple to install and maintain, and will work with any standard analog phone and selected IP phones!

2 PSTN and 4 VoIP lines — let you save with VoIP services and VoIP inter-branch connections without giving up your traditional phone network connection.

4 local and 10 remote extensions — provide you with plenty of in-house extensions as well the ability to add ANY phone, ANYwhere, to the system that can be reached with simple three-digit dialing!

24 voice mailboxes — provides 1 voice mailbox per local extension, 1 for each remote extension and 10 general-use mailboxes. Built-in voicemail system features include remote message notification, forwarding capabilities, and voicemail-to-e-mail options. Comes with 30 minutes of voice memory that can be increased by adding voicemail memory cards (Items #7088, #6209 and #6213) or activate licenses (Items #26605 and #26606).

9-level auto-attendant system — answers your phone and routes your calls to your on-site or remote extensions via a range of interactive touch-tone choices that you custom-configure. Also allows you to use different greetings on each of your incoming lines.

Network units for more capacity — connect up to 3 additional VS, 48-CA, or 48-CVA TalkSwitch units to your 244vs system and increase capacity to up to 16 traditional lines, 16 VoIP trunks, and 32 local and 40 remote extensions.

Dial-by-name directory — allows callers to select an extension by dialing the name of the person they want to reach.

Easy set-up — saves time and money on installation… plus, all call handling settings are configured on the included Windows®-friendly software, making system changes a cinch!

Compatible with most phones — designed to work with TalkSwitch phones (Items #21392, #11229, #21390, and #11225), other standard analog phones, and selected IP phones (such as Polycom® and Grandstream).

Works with phone company services — lets you enhance your TalkSwitch system's performance with such extras as Caller ID, Hunt/Rollover/Busy Forwarding, 3-Way Calling, and more. (Requires subscription to local phone company services.)

Making VoIP calls requires subscription to an Internet telephone service such as BroadVoice.
