This Panasonic phone is also packed with convenient features you’re going to love, including Call Block, which lets you store unwanted callers into your phone and eliminate them from calling in the future; Silent Mode, which lets you program handsets to ring or not ring; and Talking Phone, which includes Talking Caller ID, Talking Alarm Clock, and Talking Battery Alert. You also get an all-digital answering system with 18 minutes of record time, and a speakerphone in the handset.

DECT 6.0 technology — ensures long range, excellent clarity, and greater security, plus won't conflict with other wireless devices such as routers, microwave ovens, or wireless keyboards.

Call block — lets you store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's call block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls from them. After their information is stored, they'll get a busy signal if they call you again.

Silent mode — enables you to program each handset to ring or not at your discretion. For example, before you go to sleep, set the bedside handset to silent mode so that it won't ring for the duration of your slumber. In the meantime, the handset in another room is unaffected, and rings as usual.

Talking phone — includes Talking Caller ID, Talking Alarm Clock, and Talking Battery Alert. Now you don’t have to be holding the phone to see who’s calling. Using text-to-speech technology, the caller ID information is announced in between rings! The phone also boasts an alarm clock that speaks to you, as in “It’s time for lunch”. And the phone politely tells you when your battery is low with a “Please charge phone” reminder.
